Welcome!

Welcome to the next era of the Unionville Festival!

Started 40 years ago to protect our unique village heritage, the Unionville Festival has grown into a must-do summer event for thousands of Ontarians and visitors alike.

We gather on the first weekend of June throughout Unionville to see long-time friends and make new ones, shop the booths of the Village Market, listen to great music, and feel the fun everywhere.

Start on Friday night with our Street Fest for all tastes. Saturday morning, kick off the day with our Festival Parade – the best of its kind in York Region. The day is packed with activities, right through to sunset and our famous fireworks over Toogood Pond. And Sunday is Family Day. Come to Crosby Park to enjoy non-stop fun for all ages.

The Festival Committee and the community send a huge thank-you out to all those who support the Festival through their tireless commitment and effort.
  • Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Ward 3 Councillor Don Hamilton, members of the Town Council and the staff of the Town of Markham.
  • The many volunteers who donate their time, ideas and energy year after year.
  • You, our residents and visitors. We hope you enjoy everything the Festival has to offer!
Join us – we can’t wait to see you!
